Annual Dues, in the amount of $100, cover music and administrative costs. Members pay dues at the first rehearsal for each season. Make checks payable to Douglas County Chamber Singers.

is issued at the first rehearsal of each season. Members are responsible for the music and must return all music at the end of each concert. Payment for lost music is based on music replacement cost.

are held on Tuesday nights from 7:30 - 9:30 pm at First United Methodist Church in Douglasville, GA from September through the end of March.

is recorded at rehearsals and concerts. Be sure to let the membership secretary know if you will not be able to attend a rehearsal. You may be precluded from singing in an upcoming concert i
f you miss more than three rehearsals prior to a concert. Please make every effort to be in place, ready to rehearse, 10 minutes before the scheduled rehearsal time.

Dress Rehearsals
are held right before the scheduled concerts (specific dates will be announced several weeks in advance). You do not need to wear concert attire at dress rehearsals. 

Concert Attire:

  • Women wear solid black, floor length gowns of their own choosing with black shoes.  Sleeveless, strapless, spaghetti strapped, low cut front or low cut back gowns are not suitable.
  • Men wear a black tuxedo with white shirt and black shoes.
  • Please refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes, aftershaves, scented deodorants or hairsprays.
